Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Many thanks to all who made our Fall Festival such a special event espcecially to Tom and Karen Brown and Mike and Pattie McCormack for the gift of the sausages and for grilling them. They were delicious. Susie Hall and Jodi Prieffer did a great job coordinating the day and the FLC looked beautiful. It was wonderful to see so many of our new parishioners participating. Thanks to everyone for coming out and joining in the fun!
The Great Adventure Bible Study will be held on October 28th. It is not too late to join in this opportunity to come and learn more about the Sacred Scriptures. I want to invite you to join other members of your parish family on this journey of faith.
Today, St. Paul tells us in the Letter to the Romans that "everyone moved by the Spirit is a son of God!" What a great promise. We were all given the gift of the spirit in our baptism and confirmation. Now we are called to live out that spirit in our day to day living. This requires us to live up to our vocation as sons and daughters of God and to remember that our vocation extends to recognize each other as brothers and sisters.
I hope that you are having a good Monday and that this week will bring you many blessings!
Peace and all good things to you! See you at Church!
Msgr. Jim Flaherty
